showCASe your style #4

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

It's time for our next challenge at showCASe your style :-)
This time we have a cool sketch for you and we hope you all are inspired and motivated to play along with us!!!

For my card I replaced the circle in the sketch with two die cut gingerbread people.

All stamps and dies on this card are from last months Clearly Whimsy Stamps release!

First I die cut a gingerbread man and woman from white cardstock with the "Gingerbread People Die Set" and stamped the coordinating people with Delicata Golden Glitz ink onto them (stamp set: "Gingerbread People")

The gold looks a little bit splotchy here in the picture, but I promise it does NOT look like this IRL but soooo lovely, smooth and super shiny :)

The sentiment from the "Christmas Greetings" set was stamped with Brilliance ink in Rocket Red and the large word "Christmas" (also from "Christmas Greetings") was stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz ink again.

I would love to see how you feel inspired by Simonnes wonderful sketch and hope you play along with us and link up your project :-)

Please refer to the grey boxes below this post for a complete list of supplies :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)

Merry & Bright - AIR project

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Today I am sharing a card with you, that is a little bit unusual for me, because I have colored (*gasp*) two super cute stamped bunnies ;-)

You will find the complete card, together with detailed step-by-step instructions (with pictures) and the supply list on the Imagine Crafts Blog

I hope you will stop by their blog and maybe leave me a comment over there.
That would be super awesome :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)

Merry Christmas - showCASe your style #2

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

It's time for our next challenge at showCASe your style :-)
This time we have a color challenge for you and we hope you all are inspired and motivated to play along with us!!!

For my (very ;-) ) clean and simple Christmas card I have used the new "Christmas Greetings" stamp set from Whimsy Stamps' Clearly Whimsy Stamps collection.

I first stamped the branches from the Christmas Greetings set with Delicata Silvery Shimmer alongside the left side of the focal panel.

After the ink was dry, I filled in the berries with irRESISTible Pico Embellisher in gold to add a little texture and dimension for some extra pizazz.

The words (also from the Christmas Greetings set) were stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz and Versafine Onyx Black (can you see, how the Delicata Silvery Shimmer still shines through the Onyx Black? Love this effect!)

I would love to see how you feel inspired by our lovely inspirational picture (see above) and hope you play along with us and link up your project :-)

Please refer to the grey boxes below this post for a complete list of supplies :)

Merry & Bright

Hi everyone and happy Saturday :)

It seems, I am in Christmas cardmaking fever, recently *lol*
But hey.. it's only 7 weeks until December 25th! Therefore...high time to start creating your Christmas greetings for all your loved ones!

For the card shown above I have used one of the newly released stamp sets from Clearly Whimsy Stamps "Sparkle and Shine" together with my go to inks from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko and the dies, you may have noticed a LOT on my cards, recently. This is the curved one from the "Stitched Border Die Trio" which was also designed by SC Design for Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

Please refer to the grey boxes below this post for step-by-step instructions and a complete list of supplies :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)
